Our Story

Welcome to our Family Home at Hume. As year round residents at Hume Lake we are excited to share our home with you for a few weeks every summer. Our Home is not a typical Hume rental. Built in 2018 our home is the newest subdivision cabin on the Hill. Finished with special touches and and eye to practical living you will enjoy every modern amenity while staying in our Hume Home.

When you arrive you will find ample parking in either our paved parking pad or on the gravel parking area. Built on a second story elevation to maximize both privacy and views, after you climb the front stairs you will enter onto a covered front porch perfect for lazy afternoons in the shade. Equipped with a large mud room with ample storage benches for shoes, and a full washer and dryer for those wet towels from the Lake you will then enter into the great room furnished with multiple cozy seating areas and light and a bright kitchenequipped with a double oven and open to a dining table which seats 8 and a 65 inch television for family movie nights. From the great room you can exit onto the second trex deck porch which has an outdoor sectional, and outside eating for 6 at a table equipped with a gas fire pit. The side wing of the first floor contains our bunk room with two built in triple bunk beds, a cozy sitting room and the Master wing with a full bath and a Dutch door which also leads out to the porch. Downstairs also boasts an additional full bath with a tub for bathing little ones at the end of the long day and as a special bonus we have a cozy Harry Potter cupboard which doubles as a tiny play room for little ones with toys for their use. We also have a full array of childrens literature, board games and puzzles for your use. Upstairs you will find two additional bedrooms for your use one with a full attached bathroom, an additional built in bunk bed as well as an additional full size bathroom, you will also find an additional washer and dryer. As we are connected to the Hume sewer system you can have the additional peace of mind that your stay will not be cut short by problems with a septic tank. The Cabin is also equipped with a smart T.V.and highspeed internet with speeds comparable to what you would get down the hill.

Located on East Fir it is a quick and easy walk down to main camp and the lake. We have also made available to you for an additional fee the use of our Family Golf cart for quick and easy access around camp.
