Whats the bed situation?
Master Bedroom: 1 King size bed
Secondary bedroom: 1 Full size bed
Third bedroom: 1 twin size bunk bed
Bunk room: 2 triple bunks
Upstairs bunk:1 bunk bed
Full size air mattress is also available
How many people can we have at the cabin?
10 people (two family max)is our maximum occupancy including children
What about the bathroms?
four full bathrooms one with a tub for bathing little ones
Whats included?
Bedding and linens for all the beds including blankets and pillows for all the bunks
Beach towels and sand toys
full size Kayak for use at the Lake
two beach chairs
Completely stocked kitchen including;double ovens, microwave,crockpot/instapot, stand mixer, vita-mix blender, Keurig coffee maker, drip coffee maker and more!
paper towels and toilet paper (although if you anticipate using a lot of this it may be good to bring extras as restocking at the General store can be pricey)
Toiletries in all bathrooms including Shampoo, Conditioner, body wash, kids body wash, and lotion
limited pantry supplies include, spices, oils and sprays
Dish T.V. with spart T.V. in family room
High speed internet
phone for local and long distance calls
board games, puzzles, books, toys (including a large assortment of Legos for the boys in your life)
What is not included?
Food, you should plan on bringing what you will need for cooking and eating while on the Hill. The Camp does offer a limited selection at the General Store but be prepared to pay a premium price. The camp also operates the dining hall with meals available to purchase, the Snack shack for Milkshakes and diner fare, pizza and pizzookies for a quick bite, and a weekly pancake breakfast (details found at the welcome center)

our Golf cart is not included with the price of the cabin. If you would like to use it while staying in the cabin you may rent it for use with licensed drivers over 18 years old. Please email us when booking for details and pricing
our deep freeze as well as some of our personal items are not included and will be clearly labeled
What else do I need to know?
Our home as stairs. Lots of stairs. There are aproximately two flights of stairs up to the front door so please be aware of any mobility issues before you visit. You can access the back door and bypass the stairs but you will still have to walk up a gravel walkway on an incline.
This is our personal home. We hope you will enjoy it and all that it offers but we do expect that you treat it with care and cleanliness. This is not a party house. We expect that you will make use of the mudroom and not wear shoes in our home. If you love a mess this may not be the right house for you. We do charge a security deposit and the cost of any extra cleaning or items that are broken or damaged will be charged.
All renters in the Sub-Division are asked to abide by the Rules of Hume Lake Christian camps. This includes no Alcohol and or smoking while staying on the Hill. A full list of rules will be sent to you before you arrive.
While we have ample parking we ask that in respect for our neighbors you only come up with two cars max and respect the 15mph speed limit in the subdivision.
What is there to do at Hume?
I am so glad you asked! There is always something to do at Hume. You can Enjoy the summer teaching series, enroll your littles in Huckleberry House or Day camp and enjoy the morning exploring the hiking trails around hume or simply enjoying a nap. There are shakes and fries at the Snack Shop, shopping at Hume apparell, renting paddleboards or setting up in the sun on the lawn while you watch the kids play. You can enjoy the high adventure course or go on a guided walking tour behind the scenes at the camp. Mountain biking, swimmming, driving down into nearby Kings Canyon or Visiting the big trees Hume is the perfect spot to enjoy God’s creation

Something you might want to consider is donating or volunteering some time while you are here on the Hill. The ministry of Hume is the entire reason we are here and there are frequent opportunities for volunteers to support the ministry of Hume.
Take a minute to encourage any staff you encounter. They work hard in the summer and any encouragement you can give them is so appreciated.
